If you haven’t been to Kukul yet, you’ve probably heard of this place. It’s where an entire mountain meadow of crocuses is among the first to bloom while snow and cold still linger elsewhere. In summer, the slopes are covered with bilberries and raspberries. And the views are breathtaking — Mount Kukul rises 1,539 metres above sea level between Vorokhta and Hoverla.
We like to think that the name sounds like the call of the cuckoos that live there. That is why they became the central graphic on this men’s sweatshirt. The design also features the coordinates and topographic relief of the area.
