The New UAF women’s denim jacket speaks aviation through and through. Mirage 2000, F-16, and MiG-29 fighter jets appear on the sleeve, while the cut combines sharp lines and sculptural volume inspired by aircraft engineering.
The upper panel echoes the shape of wings: instead of being stitched down along the edge, the denim falls freely in an overlapping layer. Its shape flows into the pocket line — to reach the pocket, simply lift the edge and slide your hand beneath the “wing.”
New UAF changes with your mood — and the weather. The sleeves can be pulled up to create a shorter, more voluminous silhouette, giving the jacket an entirely different look. The intricate, layered front is balanced by a clean, understated back, keeping New UAF close to the timeless versatility of a classic denim jacket.
An external hanging loop on the back is both a practical detail and a subtle nod to flight jackets, where the loop is often placed on the outside.
