When someone intends to visit the guys from the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade, they say: “Let’s go to the Forest Brothers.” Because the Brigade is from Polissya.
It’s in khaki (appropriate to the requirements of the time). On the chest, there’s our embroidered logo and an embroidery of a werewolf with anti-aircraft missiles in its paws against the printed background of a Su-27 aircraft. That’s the aircraft that the Brigade flies. On the back, is an airplane in the form of an attacking bird of prey and the slogan that, in our opinion, suits the brigade “Those who hold up the sky”. On the back of the collar, there’s an inscription Polissya and the Brigade’s coordinates. On the right sleeve, there’s a wolf paw and the name of the Brigade, on the left, is our traditional Ukrainian Air Force roundel.
