Men’s polo shirt from our collection dedicated to awesome dudes: the Control Center for Search and Rescue Aviation Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They are the ones covering the pilots who hold up our sky. They are the ones saving pilots in case of accidents. And if usually it is about technical failures, now it is more about rescue during combat missions. That’s why the guys are serious, and they must have a collection of their own. Deep green polo shirt. On the back, there is a large print of a rescuer parachuting from an MI-8 helicopter. The lining has a seal with a wind rose symbolizing the following: the rescue operation will take place regardless of the location, wherever it is needed. Search and rescue: such an inscription symbolizes the motto of this unit. 2014 is the date when the Center was established. On the chest, besides our embroidered logo there is a complex print with a helicopter, the Center’s full name, and its slogan: For Life. On the left sleeve, there is a roundel in the colors of the flag and the inscription Ukrainian Air Force, and on the collar MI-8 is printed.

This service is called the Control Center for Search and Rescue Aviation Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Founded in 2014, it deals with the search and rescue of pilots. The large print on the back where the rescuer is parachuting from the MI-8 helicopter against the background of a printed seal tells about it. In addition to the motto and the year of foundation, there is another element on the print, a wind rose, which symbolizes that help will come wherever it is needed. On the front, there’s a print with the full name of the Center, a helicopter, and the slogan of the Center: For Life. On the left shoulder, there is a roundel in the colors of the flag and the inscription Ukrainian Air Force, on the collar there is a printed inscription MI-8.

Because of the place of deployment, the Brigade got its friendly name The Forest Brothers. Hence the wolf is their symbol. Polo shirt in Khaki because we’re at war. On the front, there’s a print combined with embroidery, on which a wolf holds two missiles against the background of a Su-27 aircraft (the jets that the guys are flying). On the sleeve, there’s an embroidered wolf paw and the actual signature of the Brigade. On the back, there is a large print, where the plane is depicted in the form of a bird of prey, and the motto which is very suitable for fighter pilots in our opinion - "Those Who Hold Up the Sky". On the collar, there’s an inscription Polissya and the Brigade coordinates, on the left sleeve there’s a yellow-blue roundel. Our embroidered logo is on the chest. And a traditional red label on the side.

The polo fastens with buttons. A loop below them is intended for glasses so you don’t lose them and keep them safe. There is an embroidered logo of Aviatsiya Halychyny on the chest. There are the words by Ivan Franko below it: “Дух, що тіло рве до бою” (“Deathless spirit of revolt — Rousing man to mighty prowess”). The largest picture of the polo is the allegory for the struggle of good and evil. So there is a picture of a golden eagle with a serpent. The sleeves are decorated with embroidery, an inscription “UA”, and an imprinted phrase “Слова, що надають крила” (“Words that give the freedom to fly”). As such words really give the freedom to fly. The other sleeve is embellished with a chevron with a picture of Ivan Franko. The collar can be unfolded. There is an inscription “Kamenjar” under iе, i.e. the pseudo Franko received after he wrote the poem “Каменярі” (“Pavers of the Way”), and the coordinates of his birth palce in Nahuievychi village: 49°21′43″N. 23°19′14″E.

Raider S-97, a helicopter released by “Sikorsky Aircraft” company, is depicted on the front side. It is accompanied with the signature of Ihor Sikorsky. The helicopter the date and place of birth of the engineer are indicated below. A special loop is sewn below the buttons for convenient placement of glasses. The same feature is used by the military in their uniform. There is an inscription on the back – SikorSKY; images of helicopters produced by the “Sikorsky Aircraft” company are below it. On the shoulders there are shoulder marks to match the polo. We borrowed this element from the military; it is used to designate a military rank. Below the collar, there is the motto of the company – “Better tomorrow arrives today” and 40.8’N 73.3’W, i.e. the coordinates of the first plant’s location. On the right sleeve there are two national flags – Ukrainian and American. Interesting fact: the USA flag is mirror reflected. According to military tradition, the American flag is depicted with stars to the fore. Below the flags, there are two inscriptions: Kyiv – the city where the first helicopter was created, and Long Island – the place where the “Sikorsky Aircraft” was founded. The ventilation system is used in our polo shirts, i.e. special holes under the sleeves.

It is of different color and mood, but it retains the same brutal spirit. On the right side of the chest there is embroidered bee-helicopter with a sharp sting, combat kit and number of the Brigade, as well as the Brigade’s call sign and the operating frequency of the airfield. On the back there is a large print with helicopters and the motto, as well as traditional coordinates of the Brigade (50°07’44’’N  25°10’24’’E).
