Although there are elements of the Patriot air defence system, which is in service with the Ukrainian army, the main idea of this item is to emphasise the mindset of the wearer. The cut of the shirt is restrained and functional. Instead of a traditional collar, we made a nice minimalist stand-up. Two pockets were added on the chest – a voluminous velcro pocket and a hidden vertical pocket. Another large pocket is on the sleeve. A line of buttons on a strong ribbon was made on the front – as securely as under the cover of the same air defence system. The wide cuffs are fastened with two buttons at once. There is our traditional ‘UA’ on the sleeve, as well as embroidery with wings on the back.

One of them, and probably the most famous one, is the UA SKY ACES. This is a pilot that shot down more than 30 planes above Kyiv, saving thousands of lives. These superheroes deserve their own line. White male T-shirt with a big print on the chest where we placed the image of the hero (he posted a selfie on social media) and the inscription in yellow-blue colors. The Independence War written on the left shoulder, as we are fighting for our Independence. On the right - a rondel with the Ukrainian air force. And we apologise if you find it a little difficult to walk in crowded streets in our new FREEDOM vest, as people will keep asking where you got it. To avoid confusion, show them the inscription on the safety pin hanging from your pocket. The vest has an original cut: it is cut from a single pattern and fastened on both sides with 6 voluminous fasteners on the belt straps. On the front, we placed a decoding of how UKRAINE will sound according to the phonetic alphabet of NATO and the International Civil Aviation Organisation. On the large top pocket on the right there is a velcro tape where a chevron with the inscription «Всі проти нас, один тільки вітер назустріч» (‘Everyone is against us, only the wind is on our side’) is attached. The top pocket next to it has a printed roundel with a trident. We added velour overlays to the two voluminous pockets below to make it easier to attach chevrons. Another pocket is located a little behind, almost on the back, so that you can easily reach it with both hands. Each pocket has a safety pin with our traditional inscriptions ‘Proudly made in Ukraine’ and ‘Aviatsiya Nalychyny’ attached to the clasp. On the back there is a large inscription ‘Gives you freedom to fly’, and a little below it – ‘Since 2014’.

The polo is in maritime colors — blue and navy blue. On the back, there is the frigate “Hetman Sahaydachnyi” — a multipurpose combat ship of the Ukrainian Naval Forces. Below it, there are flags of the main countries which participated in the military exercise; there is also a description of the main goal of the exercise set below :) The outlines of the Black Sea serve as a background. On the chest on the right, there is a large print which depicts Neptune wringing the necks of a two headed hen off. There is also a NATO star and coordinates of the Black Sea. Our logo is placed on the right. The right sleeve is decorated with our fantasies on the logo of the military exercise, and the left one has a roundel with an anchor — the symbol of Ukrainian Naval Aviation.

It’s reserved, strict and stylish, just like our ‘bombers’ from Starokonstiantyniv. The Brigade’s symbol, a Carpathian hawk, spreads its wings on the chest, courageous and fast, just like the Su-24 itself. Below the hawk there is the Brigade’s embroidered slogan, which is emblazoned on the official chevron: «Оперативність. Влучність. Достовірність» (‘Efficiency. Accuracy. Reliability’). All this is held together by a massive printed drawing of a Su-24. On the back, we have the embroidered slogan «За волю України» (‘For the Freedom of Ukraine’) in an authentic font (the same font that was used on UGA aircraft more than 100 years ago), along with a printed trident. The left sleeve features a printed image of Petro Franko, the founder of Ukrainian aviation, with Newports in the background. On the right sleeve there is an embroidered ‘UA’.
