Another one of our Sikorsky (aviator and aircraft designer of Ukrainian descent) themed creations is dedicated to the super-powerful SKY CRANE helicopter. This time it’s an elongated women’s hoodie of sand color with a deep hood. Shoulders and patch pockets in the front are made of a water-repellent fabric of bottle green color. The hoodie has two patch pockets on the chest and two deep pockets at the sides. The inside is lined with a thin black cotton fabric, the same lining is inside the hood and the sleeves. It has a zipper fastener and decorative fastex buckles. The print on the right pocket shows the SKY CRANE technical characteristics, while the helicopter itself and the constructor’s name are printed on the back. Our logo is under the hood.

Raider S-97, a helicopter released by “Sikorsky Aircraft” company, is depicted on the front side. It is accompanied with the signature of Ihor Sikorsky. The helicopter the date and place of birth of the engineer are indicated below. A special loop is sewn below the buttons for convenient placement of glasses. The same feature is used by the military in their uniform. There is an inscription on the back – SikorSKY; images of helicopters produced by the “Sikorsky Aircraft” company are below it. On the shoulders there are shoulder marks to match the polo. We borrowed this element from the military; it is used to designate a military rank. Below the collar, there is the motto of the company – “Better tomorrow arrives today” and 40.8’N 73.3’W, i.e. the coordinates of the first plant’s location. On the right sleeve there are two national flags – Ukrainian and American. Interesting fact: the USA flag is mirror reflected. According to military tradition, the American flag is depicted with stars to the fore. Below the flags, there are two inscriptions: Kyiv – the city where the first helicopter was created, and Long Island – the place where the “Sikorsky Aircraft” was founded. The ventilation system is used in our polo shirts, i.e. special holes under the sleeves.

More precisely, one of his legendary helicopter models that is the S-58 (AKA the Sikorsky H-34). It’s a transport rotorcraft that was used by the US Air Force from 1954 to 1974. It could carry 12-16 soldiers on board and had 8 bunks for the wounded. These helicopters had many modifications, there were even quite a few of them in the soviet union. But the most valuable thing is that it’s the last rotorcraft designed by Sikorsky himself. So it definitely belongs on a polo shirt. The polo shirt is available in two colors: gray and black. On the front, under our logo, there’s a patch with printed SikorSky, a trident and an embroidered signature of the inventor. Below the patches, there’s a printed helicopter. On the sleeves there’s the aircraft model and the information that this is the maestro’s last work, on the other one is our flag. The back has a printed name of the inventor and the slogan of his company - A better tomorrow arrives today.

Even now they look quite impressive: maximum takeoff weight is 21 tons, maximum speed reaches 240 km per hour and its flight range is 370 km. In addition, the “bird” set a record of lifting speed in 1971 – the skycrane has gained height of 9000 m just in 5 min 58 sec. So we couldn’t but create a T-shirt with such a giant. On the front, there is a print depicting the helicopter itself with its name inscribed. It transports the Moon imprinted and sewn on the bottom of this men's T-shirt. On the back, there is an imprinted inscription “Sikorsky”, as well as a smaller sign that this American helicopter with two engines was designed by Sikorsky Aircraft. It is dedicated to the gigantic S-64 cargo helicopter that can carry huge payloads.The hoodie is quite neat, though you probably wouldn't call it minimalistic. Shoulders, collar, sleeves, and back are strengthened with nylon inserts. Also, it has a light adjustable hood that can be hidden inside the collar. In the front, there are six functional pockets with decorative flaps. At the bottom of the left pocket, there is a ring to which you can attach your keys. It was invented and constructed by our compatriot and one of the coolest aircraft designers of all time - Igor Sikorsky from Kyiv. We designed the sweatshirts for children in two colors, that will help the kids to accomplish the transformation. The sleeves and shoulders are strengthened in places that are usually most subjected to stretching and wearing out. It also has a huge cargo hold - a belly pocket made from dense fabric. The flap pocket has a Velcro closure. Below it is a hidden zip pocket for small and big secrets. The technical characteristics of the helicopter are printed on the belly. Decorative "straps" with fastex buckles coming from the shoulders provide a bigger "load capacity". Some more information about the SKY CRANE is on the sleeve. And on the back, the air giant is printed towing the whole moon behind itself. Under the flying crane silhouette, there's the inventor's name, and above it, our logo is embroidered in matching color.

If you think about it, it is difficult to overestimate Plast’s role in the formation and creation of Ukrainian identity, and Ukrainian statehood in general. From the beginning of its existence Plast, in fact, has been a kind of amulet of Ukrainian values, which thanks to scouts spread and continue to spread where it is necessary. Since the beginning of the war, and even earlier, since the Maidan Uprising, scouts have been in the front lines to protect our country. Unfortunately, many of them died for our freedom. And it has always been like that. Scouts have always been in the vanguard of the country's defenders. In short, this collaboration is very important to us. And we are very happy to present the result. We developed this hoodie together with scouts. They filled it with meaning important for scouts. The hoodie comes in two colors: khaki and black. The hoodie has a slanted front zipper, cuffs on the sleeves and bottom. The sleeves have the same gloves as ski jackets. On the chest, there is a Plast’s lily with a trident and the year of Plast’s foundation (from the year of our Lord 1912). On the back, there is also a large embroidered Plast’s lily and the slogan С.К.О.Б. Stylized symbols are embroidered around the lily, which are the acronym for Сильно/Красно/Обережно/Бистро (meaning Strongly/Beautifully/Carefully/Speedily). On the inside of the hoodie there are lyrics of the song printed, which is always sung at the bonfire at the end of the camps. On the left sleeve, there is an “Independence War” patch.
