Women’s sweatshirt “Sikorsky” is a part of the collection in honor of the Ukrainian creator of the first helicopters. The logo of Aviatsiya Halychyny is embroidered on the front side. A high collar with two buttons on the front and a drawstring will protect your neck from the cold wind. There are two pockets for your hands not to freeze. On the left sleeve there are 2 chevrons with the national flags of Ukraine and the USA. Interestingly, the American flag is sewn being mirror reflected. According to a military tradition, the stars on the flag should be to the fore. Two cities are indicated under the chevrons: Kyiv and Long Island. Kyiv is represented as the city where Sikorsky created his first helicopter. Long Island is the place where his first plant was located. On the right sleeve “UA” is embroidered. Now no one will doubt where this sweatshirt came from. On the back there is a massive inscription with the surname of the engineer SikorSKY and below it there are models of helicopters produced by Sikorsky and his team “Sikorsky Aircraft”.

Raider S-97, a helicopter released by “Sikorsky Aircraft” company, is depicted on the front side. It is accompanied with the signature of Ihor Sikorsky. The helicopter the date and place of birth of the engineer are indicated below. A special loop is sewn below the buttons for convenient placement of glasses. The same feature is used by the military in their uniform. There is an inscription on the back – SikorSKY; images of helicopters produced by the “Sikorsky Aircraft” company are below it. On the shoulders there are shoulder marks to match the polo. We borrowed this element from the military; it is used to designate a military rank. Below the collar, there is the motto of the company – “Better tomorrow arrives today” and 40.8’N 73.3’W, i.e. the coordinates of the first plant’s location. On the right sleeve there are two national flags – Ukrainian and American. Interesting fact: the USA flag is mirror reflected. According to military tradition, the American flag is depicted with stars to the fore. Below the flags, there are two inscriptions: Kyiv – the city where the first helicopter was created, and Long Island – the place where the “Sikorsky Aircraft” was founded. More precisely, one of his legendary helicopter models that is the S-58 (AKA the Sikorsky H-34). It’s a transport rotorcraft that was used by the US Air Force from 1954 to 1974. It could carry 12-16 soldiers on board and had 8 bunks for the wounded. These helicopters had many modifications, there were even quite a few of them in the soviet union. But the most valuable thing is that it’s the last rotorcraft designed by Sikorsky himself. So it definitely belongs on a polo shirt. The polo shirt is available in two colors: gray and black. On the front, under our logo, there’s a patch with printed SikorSky, a trident and an embroidered signature of the inventor. Below the patches, there’s a printed helicopter. On the sleeves there’s the aircraft model and the information that this is the maestro’s last work, on the other one is our flag. The back has a printed name of the inventor and the slogan of his company - A better tomorrow arrives today.

In addition, the “bird” set a record of lifting speed in 1971 – the skycrane has gained height of 9000 m just in 5 min 58 sec. So we couldn’t but create a T-shirt with such a giant. We designed the sweatshirts for children in two colors, that will help the kids to accomplish the transformation. The sleeves and shoulders are strengthened in places that are usually most subjected to stretching and wearing out. It also has a huge cargo hold - a belly pocket made from dense fabric. The flap pocket has a Velcro closure. Below it is a hidden zip pocket for small and big secrets. The technical characteristics of the helicopter are printed on the belly. Decorative "straps" with fastex buckles coming from the shoulders provide a bigger "load capacity". Some more information about the SKY CRANE is on the sleeve.
